Dear fellow professionals
Have you been recently tasked to prepare the GST returns and are not certain about the transactions that constitute standard-rated, zero-rated, and exempt supplies? Are you confident that the GST declaration made in the GST returns are correct and complete, and there are no errors? Do you know whether Reverse Charge is relevant for your business, and if so, how it should be applied? Are you aware of InvoiceNow and how it affects your business?
This seminar equips you with the knowledge on the basic principles and fundamentals of GST, the rationale behind the GST treatment, when GST should be reported and the relevant GST legislations and the IRAS guidelines on both the supplies and the claiming of GST as well as the recent hot topics such as InvoiceNow. There will be case studies to facilitate your understanding of the GST concepts and treatments based on practical examples, actual scenarios, and common GST errors.
This seminar is led by an experienced GST practitioner, retired from one of the Big Four recently who will share cases, scenarios, and experience acquired throughout her more than 30 years of career in GST, both as a tax administrator and consultant.
Target audience - Preparer and reviewer of GST returns and finance executives who are involved in GST operation
